How to learn/teach reading music

A post is coming that will reveal my deep dark secrets about teaching fiddlers/violin learners to read music quickly and fluently without going through all the usual distracting memorizing of things.

I have a special system for teaching efficient reading, and doing it in a way that is closer to the way musicians actually think than is normally taught in schools.

Seeing as how I'm in the middle of traveling, though, this article got delayed, sorry (and if you're like me, when an author starts apologizing for a delay, you're thinking, “huh. I didn't notice.”)
